Emotional day. Just started writing and this is what came out...
How the fuck am I supposed to be me
If I don't even know who I used to be
Memories blocked so long ago
Cuz I'm ashamed of what I'll never see
Truly beauty, it flees from me
I'll never see what I'm supposed to be
The future is fucked, It'll never begin
I'm still dealing with today, it'll never end
How am I supposed to be me
When I never even liked who I used to be
What am I now, who will I be?
Does it even matter anymore?
I've lost sight of a path that was never here
Lost all motivation to move, to breathe
Let the lies wash over, drown me out
Lose myself to flood, won't hear myself now
I can't begin to see
What I'm supposed to be
The future is clouded
By the tears I've tried to dry
Should I be what they say
And stand with the crowd
Or should I find myself now
And say fuck them, and stand alone
I thought I would have accomplished something by now
Made a name for myself, or forged my own path
But I forgot who I am, repressed who I used to be
And all it did was torture me...
I'm trying to find my way back to her
Back to the girl I used to know
Back to the me I used to be
But it's hard when everyone refuses to see
That this is who I want to be
So fuck them all
I guess I'll stand alone
Continue to cry myself to sleep

Had to write something after today's bullshit... It's a start. This will be a "work in progress" one, cuz I don't really feel it's truly finished. Either way, I feel a tiny bit better now...
